Create Personalized Digital Product Experiences through a deeper customer understanding
The below webinar was hosted ahead of this year’s Open Mobile & Digital Experience Summit (7-8th Nov, SF). The Global meeting unites Digital, Product, Mobile and Growth Leaders to shape the future of customer engagement across mobile and digital.
If you are interested in developing your product or CX strategy, 2019’s summit will bring together the biggest brands to share how they are embracing technology, insights and analytics for impactful engagement.
** Apologies to all listeners for the 3 minutes echo during the live webinar, as such we have shared the missed answer from Anne Mercogliano, VP of Customer Experience and Growth, Good Eggs below:
Do you collaborate with customers to understand what products would add value to their daily lives?
Anne “an exciting example, was when we was looking at putting our products together, looking at abandonment carts, we started to see customers leave their carts and come back at a later date and that customers where building their carts daily as they remembered the items they needed. We went out and spoke to our shoppers to ask them how we can make the experience better, how can we help them organise their orders which led to us exploring a product to help these customers explore and shop, adding to their basket without a immediate transaction. We often found customers where shopping in the evening, using their iPad and phones so we ensured the experiences were optimised. To really find these new ways, we had to speak with our shoppers and by truly understanding their lifestyle it allowed us to identify new ways to improve the shoppers experience, which included making the login experience easier, and allowing shoppers to easily share logins for example where family’s all needed access as they would all contribute to the online shopping”
